Popinjays Café has now been serving Berwick for more than 20 years. We have a table licence and a large menu that includes a wide variety of hot food as well as hot and cold sandwiches, baked potatoes, omelettes, cakes and scones. All of our main course dishes are cooked in our own kitchen using fresh ingredients from local suppliers, and we stay busy by serving large plates of good food at a reasonable price. You can't see it from the street, but at the back of the café is a large conservatory with seven tables, looking out onto a lovely courtyard. Popinjays has 80 covers with full table service and is open seven days a week. We serve our legendary full breakfast all day from 9am, with last orders at 4.30pm, so if you can make it before then, we'll look forward to serving you.
