Personally
run by the owners for over 25 years, The Lindisfarne, built in 1902, has been
fully modernised. Each of our double and family rooms benefit from full central
heating, private shower and toilet, television and direct-dial telephone.
Good
home-cooking, is cooked personally by the proprietress. Local salmon, sea trout,
seafood and prime roast beef are often feautured on our dinner menu. The menu
is complemented by a comprehensive wine list. Our well-stocked bar is also popular,
and offers a wide range of liqueurs and whiskies. There are well over 100 malt
whiskies to choose from.
A separate lounge is also available.
The Lindisfarne Gardens are tastefully landscaped and feature a small fish pond, a dining-out area and a large lawn for families.
