Foxtons is situated on the busy Hide Hill in historic Berwick upon Tweed. It originally opened in 1994 and has been under its present management since the beginning of 2001.

Foxtons is without doubt the premier eating place in Berwick and boasts the best stocked wine bar in the area. All dishes -- starters/soups/main courses and desserts are freshly homemade on the premises using choice locally produced fish, meat, cheeses and vegetables. Mediterranean-syle dishes are its speciality, and there can be few people in the district who have not enjoyed the justifiably famous "Foxton Steak Sandwich".

The main restaurant providing lunchtime and evening meals is non-smoking and separate from the bar area. In addition to a world-wide selection of excellent wines, the latter is stocked with a range of beers. These include cask-conditioned, lagers and bottled beers. There is an extensive range of whiskies, brandies and other spirits.

Opening at 9:00am for a choice of various coffees and teas, Foxtons remains open every day until 11:00pm, excepting Sundays.
