We are Berwick's specialist independent booksellers, located in historic premises in Bridge Street,which has kept much of its traditional architectural charm. We combine fast end efficient methods with old fashioned attention to detail and friendly, personal service.

We are open Monday to Saturday from 9.15 am till 5.00 pm, except on Thursdays, when we close at 2.00 pm.

Our stock
We have around 15, 000 titles in stock, with an emphasis on good fiction, reference books and high quality children's literature.

Special orders
Our special order service is fast and efficient: most titles are available within two days.

Out of print books
The bookshop has a section devoted to out of print books, with a special collection of o/p titles about the history and topography of the region.

Compact Discs
We also have a good collection of classical CDs on the Naxos label and can order Hyperion and ASV.
