Welcome to 11 Quay Walls, in the Market Town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. The house is a grade 2 Georgian listed building dating back to the 17th Century, located on the Elizabethan walls of the town. The house commands superb views of the River Tweed, the Three Bridges and across to Tweedmouth.
Berwick has a sports centre, two coastal golf courses and the Maltings arts
centre for theatre and cinema. The paintings of LS Lowry can be seen on the
Lowry trail in Berwick and Spittal. Other activities available in the area include
salmon fishing, scuba diving at one of Britains finest dive sites, St Abbs Marine
Reserve.
The golden sands stretch south from Cheswick beach to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne
and Bamburgh Castle. The whole coastline is in a preservation area and is a
paradise for divers,geologists and birdwatchers. You can also watch swans, otters
and even seals from your bedroom window.
