12 & 13 Quay Walls
1972 - 73
This was the Trust's first project, and was acquired in 1972.

The two houses, having been built in 1825 and occupying such a prominent position on Quay Walls, were felt to be vitally important and could act as a catalyst in preserving this important area of Berwick.

In 1972 they were described as being in a perilous and ruinous state. With help from the Borough Council and the Historic Buildings Council the trust restored these important buildings to their former glory in 1973.
