Inger Lawrance
Inger Lawrence is undoubtedly the town's longest resident abstract artist.
She left Denmark for Britain in 1950 training at Goldsmith's College.
In 1984 she won a Church Fellowship to enable her to study printing techniques
in Japan and USA. She now mainly produces graphic works for limited edition
books.
