The
Arts In Berwick -- Ballads and Poems
Tweedside
poets
The verdant banks of the Tweed have inspired generations of poets from
the 17th.Century onward. Mostly these writers have been resident on the
Scottish side of the river. Evocative though their verses sometimes are,
their talents are not such as to have rendered them among the immortals
of British poetry.
